Aima Construction Company Pvt Ltd has been given the main works building contract for 120 villas at DAMAC Properties' recently announced Mandarin Oriental Bolidhuffaru Reef resort in the Maldives.
A series of resort accommodations will be built on three private islands in one of the most prestigious tropical luxury destinations in the world under the terms of the deal, which is estimated to be worth AED 544 million.
The general manager of projects at DAMAC Properties, Mohammed Tahaineh, commented on this by saying: "We are fully confident in the abilities of Aima Construction, whose track-record and enthusiasm for the project exceeded all of our expectations during an extensive and highly competitive candidate vetting process. The first of its sort for our company, DAMAC Properties is anticipating the completion of this high-profile development project in the stunning Maldives.
The Bolidhuffaru Reef in South Male Atoll will be home to the 34-hectare luxury resort. A 30-minute yacht ride from Male's Velana international airport or other modes of water transportation will get you to this spotless tropical locale. The new resort will provide its visitors with a wealth of recreational activities, water sports, gourmet experiences, wellness retreats, and more. It is distinguished by its white sand beaches and colourful coral reefs.
120 standalone villas, 64 of which are overwater and 56 of which are beachfront, will be delivered by Aima Construction. These homes, which will be among the biggest on the market, will also include private pools and lovely ocean views.
Eight dining options are available to resort visitors, including three specialised restaurants and a private location with a pool bar. Also, attendees will have access to both indoor and outdoor events for a variety of purposes.
The resort's tropical gardens house immersive wellness facilities, among other amenities. The seasoned wellness staff at Mandarin Oriental will provide their renowned services in 12 treatment suites, vitality pools, hammams, saunas, steam rooms, and a beauty salon.
The resort's development is scheduled to start in the upcoming months, and it is anticipated to be finished by the end of 2025.
