Andrew Cheng Joins Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa as Assistant Director of Sales

The new Assistant Director of Sales has been named, and his name is Andrew Cheng, according to Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa. With more than 12 years of exemplary service in the hotel sector, Andrew provides a wealth of knowledge and expertise in Sales & Marketing as well as Revenue Management.

Andrew's career started with Happy Planet Ltd in Mauritius, where he had a big impact as the department head for groups and MICE. After finding success there, he accepted a position as senior sales manager at the InterContinental Mauritius Resort, where he was instrumental in the growth of the Chinese, Korean, and Middle Eastern markets for the resort.

In addition to a Bachelor of Arts in English Language & Literature from Xiamen University in China, Andrew also possesses a Master of Arts in Chinese Studies from the University of Mauritius. He has also improved his ability to speak Cantonese, French, and Chinese. Andrew's primary responsibilities in his new position at the Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa will be managing and advancing business from the Chinese market.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Andrew has other passions and interests. A self-described "Foodie," he has a passion for gastronomic treats from different cultural traditions. He also loves football and Formula One with a passion. Traveling the world and immersing oneself in other cultures and experiences is one of Andrew's favorite pastimes since it enables him to embrace new viewpoints and widen his horizons.

Andrew has developed a renewed interest in stargazing since moving to the gorgeous Maldives. His interest in the celestial universe has been piqued by the tranquil nights over Furanafushi, where Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa is located. In order to understand more about the beauties of the night sky and constellations, he has joyfully plunged into amateur astronomy.

He is a tremendous addition to the team due to his wide knowledge, track record of success in a comparable field, as well as his interests and passions.
