Angsana Velavaru to host two-day Easter celebration
Angsana Velavaru invites guests to spend Easter on a two-day island celebration with family oriented events, ocean adventures and seasonal dining from April 4-5, 2026.
Located inside South Nilandhe Atoll's beautiful turquoise lagoon is the resort that has created a special celebration program for families, couples and vacationers wanting to create lasting memories during their visit. The Easter celebration encompasses wellness sessions, Classes and marine excursions which allow guests to relax, discover new places and connect with the Island's natural wonders.
Mornings will begin with yoga classes at the lagoon view point as a peaceful way to start the day before heading off to discover the Maldives incredible ocean life through the resort's Endheri Marine Centre.
There will also be several leisure activities available on the Island throughout each Day, including kite flying, aqua aerobics and feeding birds at the Island Sanctuary. Adventure-oriented guests can enjoy food, water tubing and discovering nearby lagoons during sunset boat cruises.
Easter festivities feature a strong emphasis on the importance of dining as guests are able to be involved in interactive cocktail-making events and hands-on involvement with the resort’s culinary team through Wok & Toss, a unique cooking class. Guests will have the opportunity to taste seasonal Easter Buffet lunches and dinners at Kaani Restaurant while surrounded by an island paradise setting and many other festive types of food.
As the night falls, guests will be able to enjoy the island atmosphere with live music, DJ entertainment and outdoor movies under the stars, providing a fun and relaxing environment for guests to mix and mingle.
Children will also have a great time at The Ranger's Club, with a specially-designed Easter program featuring activities such as bunny mask making, Easter egg painting, string art activity and time-honored Easter egg hunts and races on the sand and engaging in games.
