Cora Cora Maldives attract More Solo Female Travelers since getting Top Global Award

The prestigious Cora Cora Maldives, a top-rated five-star resort in the tropical paradise of Raa Atoll, has experienced a significant rise in solo female travelers following its recent recognition with the esteemed SHe Travel Club Label. Since being awarded this accolade earlier this year, the resort has observed an equal number of women traveling solo between May 2023 and December 2023 as it did from its opening in October 2021 to May 2023.

The trend of female travel has grown significantly in recent years, with businesses catering exclusively to women experiencing a 230% increase. Globally, women comprise 64% of travelers, outnumbering men at 36%. Furthermore, there is a rising inclination among women to embark on solo trips, with an estimated expenditure of nearly £100 billion on travel by women in 2023.
