On the 4th of March 2026, Baros Maldives will host a special Champagne paired dinner at the Lighthouse, an iconic overwater restaurant. This one-night-only event will be led by Louis Duval-Leroy, a family member and the Brand Ambassador for the Maison Duval-Leroy, offering guests an intimate journey through fine culinary arts and exceptional champagne.

In 1859, Maison Duval Leroy was founded and built upon its success in developing a unique Chardonnay-style, innovative philosophy and a commitment to sustainable practices. This family-owned winery has been responsible for practicing ecologically sound viticulture for over six generations, becoming the first Champagne producer to receive an ISO 9002 certification (in 1994) and subsequently earning its Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne certification (in 2015).
Louis Duval Leroy represents the 6th generation of the family and looks to combine both tradition and modernity in his business approach. With a strong business acumen and much global experience, he has created strong business relationships throughout the world of fine dining. During the evening program he will provide insights on each cuvee introduction, offering you insight into both Duval Leroy's history, winemaking philosophy and the story behind his selected Champagnes.
The five-course menu that has been exclusively created for this occasion will complement the distinct characteristics of each champagne. Highlights include: Smoked Goat Cheese Parfait with Golden Beets, paired with Duval-Leroy Brut Réserve; Black Cod Mosaic, paired with Brut Rosé Prestige Premier Cru; and Lemon Meringue Tart, paired with Prestige Premier Cru Blanc de Blancs.
