Gary began his culinary career under the tutelage of the renowned Gary Rhodes and has subsequently collaborated with renowned chefs including John Campbell and Richard Neat. His skills in the kitchen brought him to The Square in Mayfair, a renowned two-Michelin-starred restaurant, where he rose to the position of Head Chef and established himself in the industry. Gary began working at Angler in April 2016 as the executive head chef, and in only five short months, he helped the restaurant acquire a Michelin star.

Gary stands out due to his wide range of travel experiences. He was inspired by numerous foods, flavors, and cooking styles while spending three years traveling across France, Southeast Asia, Japan, Central America, and South America. These inspirations can now be seen in his colorful and seasonally appropriate recipes, which always utilise the best British ingredients available.
