Cora Cora Maldives Introduces Mediterranean Cuisine with Celebrity Chef Collaboration

Celebrity Chef Mauro Panebianco will be at Cora Cora Maldives from March 19 to March 28 for a 10-day stay, bringing a flavour of the Mediterranean to the opulent Tropical resort. Chef Panebianco will lead Cora Cora guests on an indulgently simple journey focused on seasonal, fresh ingredients prepared in a chic, modern manner. Since the first day of Cantinetta Antinori's operation in Moscow in 2004, Chef Mauro has established an outstanding reputation. He first captured guests' attention in a string of illustrious Italian restaurants, including the Four Seasons Hotel in Milan, where he studied confectionary, the Relais & Chateaux San Felice in Siena, where he served as pastry chef, and the Eden Hotel's famed La Terrazza restaurant in Rome. Finally, he received a job invitation to work in Russia after leading the inauguration of the Giorgio Armani restaurant in Munich.

Busto Arsizio, a city in northern Italy known as the entrance to Milan's fashion district, is where Mauro was born. He spent a lot of time at his uncle's restaurant, and by the time he was five, he was assisting with table cleanup and handing out caramel candies to customers. Over time, Mauro's fascination with the restaurant industry grew, and he made the decision to pursue a career as a chef. He attended one of Europe's most prominent and well-known institutes of hotel and restaurant business in the city of Stresa on the beaches of Lake Maggiore, where he also worked every summer as an assistant chef and pastry chef at other places.

Chef Mauro adds, "I have to make our visitors feel something. "I can tell you that love and passion always have a place in my work."

Chef Mauro continues to be devoted to his goal of solely evoking happy feelings in his customers by fusing his love of delicious food with a desire for novel experiences. Naturally, all with a distinctive Italian accent.

During the past five years, his remarkable career has led to appearances as a Guest Chef at numerous hotel events in the Maldives. Chef Mauro Panebianco received Chef of the Year at the Restaurant Industry's Palm Branch Awards in 2021 in the Keeper of the Classics category.
