Dante Rossi has been named the new Director of Food & Beverage by Alila Kothaifaru Maldives.
Dante has over 15 years of experience in the hospitality sector and a love of food and drink that he brings to Alila Kothaifaru Maldives. He is renowned for his dedication to perfection and for bringing new, original ideas to the table.
He started his career with the Starwood Management Trainee Program at The Westin Hotel in Montreal, Canada, and China. Then came management positions in Waldorf Astoria's restaurants and bars, first during the hotel chain's prosperous opening in Chengdu, China, and then in the Maldives.
Dante later rose to the position of Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at the Hilton West Bay in Qatar, where he was instrumental in the opening of Society Lounge, one of Qatar's top nightclubs, as well as the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Most recently, he was Jakarta, Indonesia's JW Marriott Hotel's Director of Food & Beverage.
Dante will be in charge of all facets of the resort's culinary and beverage operations in his new position at Alila Kothaifaru Maldives. With an emphasis on fresh, local ingredients and straightforward yet elegant meals, he is dedicated to developing a culinary destination that delights visitors with the finest of the Maldives.
