Emirates customers now have access to 16 well-liked vacation spots outside of Malé thanks to a cooperation between Emirates and Maldivian. The agreement effectively builds upon the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that the two airlines signed last year to examine potential areas of mutual cooperation. Customers flying into more well-known vacation locations from Velana International Airport in the North Male atoll will now be able to profit from flights to the Maldives' exotic island attractions. For their island break, Emirates travellers can choose from a number of domestic points by connecting to Maldivian's services.
