Born on the Italian island of Sardinia in the Mediterranean Sea, chef Tidu started to cook as young as 13. He went on to learn to appreciate the fresh, beautiful local produce that his homeland had in store for him. It is something that still goes on to imprint itself into his cooking: the balanced, vibrant flavors of Mediterranean cuisine.
Some of the notable awards he has received include winning the 2022 Chef Hat Award at Jonah's Restaurant, Australian Good Food Guide.
