Jean Francois Richard Named Director of Sales and Marketing at Seaside Finolhu, Baa Atoll, Maldives

Seaside Finolhu Baa Atoll has announced the hiring of Jean Francois Richard as the new Director of Sales and Marketing for the opulent Maldivian resort. Jean Francois will be in charge of steering the Sales and Marketing Team and enhancing every part of it.

From Kempinski Seychelles Resort Baie Lazare, where he formerly served as Director of Sales & Marketing, Jean Francois joins Finolhu. Before that, from 2010 and 2021, he progressed through the sales and marketing ranks at Marriott International, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, eventually landing in the position of Cluster Director of Sales for Mauritius.

Jean Francois, who has both French and Mauritian citizenship, brings with him nearly 20 years of considerable expertise in a range of positions throughout the global hospitality and tourism industries. He also has a bachelor's and master's degree in hotel management and marketing, and he has become an expert in a variety of fields, including collaboration and cross-functional interactions, brand standards implementation, strategic and tactical planning, and the development of F&B concepts.
