This capsule collection is named Aquazzura, launched now with northern Maldives's island JOALI Maldives on the Muravandhoo island. The capsule collection is exclusive and, because it has drawn inspiration from the luscious and art-immersive island, the two brands have collaborated over the beautiful sandal and its matching clutch. It will be sold in the boutique of Maison de JOALI found on the island.
This collection makes up the birth in Italian shores because Edgardo Osorio founder, and creative director he certainly loved the sun, the sea, as well as scuba diving while born here, took it on with Maldives collaboration to produce what looks truly outstanding like something born from another era's earth to ensure, and indeed all done the company's first true joint-venture collaboration. Fresh yet laid-back yet refined and bold, the wearer of these pieces shall be whisked off to this exotic journey. For its inspiration, here the clutch JOALI is derived from the arrival jetty in JOALI Maldives by taking as an inspiration how the ebb and the flow of the ocean establish the tone for that magic time waiting to unfold each night in the Maldives.
The turquoise sea that surrounds the JOALI inspires Aquazzura's 'Aqua' blue and her philosophy of infusing infinite joy into this world. Therefore, synergy that can now be visualized and realized through this special capsule is immense. Aquazzura founder and creative director Edgardo Osorio said that "I have been snorkelling in the Maldives a few years ago, and immediately fell under the spell of the vibrant nature and stunning colors of the coral reefs. On my latest visit to JOALI Maldives, I fell again under its spell and this time by beautiful architecture, exceptional service and wellness rituals.". It is such a privilege as an all-out sun-and-sea worshipper devotee that JOALI Maldives decided to collaborate on creating something unique to lead up to the launching of its very first pop-up Aquazzura collection in the Maldives.
