The North Malé Atoll of the Maldives' Kuda Villingili Resort, nestled on a spotless ultra-private island, celebrates its second anniversary by giving back to its visitors.
Every one of its beach villas, including the homes, now has private pools as part of an ongoing effort to improve the visitor experience. Guests may expect an even more opulent and quiet escape thanks to this extraordinary makeover. 75 beautiful villas, including 36 luxurious overwater villas that are perched opulently atop the crystal-clear lagoon, are tucked away within this tropical haven. The resort also has the biggest, most expansive freshwater pool in the Maldives, measuring over 150 meters.
Initiatives in collaboration with Green Globe, a recognized leader in accreditation for sustainable tourism, have been coordinated. The resort has integrated solar panels into the Kuda Villingili team members' village as part of its steadfast commitment to sustainability. The resort's overall energy consumption has been reduced by an astonishing 40% as a result of this eco-friendly approach. A variety of environmentally friendly practices have also been put in place, including the installation of an on-site drinking water bottling facility, energy-efficient air conditioning units, and creative power-saving technologies. The resort's focused conservation efforts, which are centered on conserving the sensitive ecology, help it strengthen its commitment to the environment and the local people while maintaining an unrelenting focus on long-term sustainability.
The Raalhu Bar, located at the resort's vantage point of Chickens Break Surf Point, has opened its doors and brings a new, thrilling dimension to the resort's dining and drinking experiences. This provides visitors with a private hideaway where they may enjoy the island's stunning sunset views. The Raalhu Bar is the newest addition to Kuda Villingili's comprehensive menu of eating options, which already includes seven restaurants serving cuisine from around the world, a main bar, two bars where guests may unwind while watching the sun set into the ocean, and a luxurious cigar and whiskey lounge.
The brand-new comprehensive 'Redefined Ultra Luxury All-Inclusive' package, which allows visitors to fully immerse themselves in a carefree and indulgent vacation experience, is also only recently offered. For stays of four nights or more, guests can enjoy custom experiences that redefine what it means to be ultra-luxurious. Visitors can choose from a variety of eating experiences offered across seven unique restaurants, along with a quality selection of drinks and over 100 carefully chosen wine brands. Since the island offers a comprehensive all-inclusive package, visitors are welcomed by an atmosphere of luxury and kindness from the minute they arrive.
Kuda Villingili has received a wide variety of guests since its June 2021 opening, including honeymooners, families, surfers, multi-generational groups, and small incentive and leisure groups. "A major lure has been the resort's handy location, which is only a quick 30-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport. In order to give each guest a greater sense of space, the number of villas has been reduced from 95 to 75, and spacious two- to four-bedroom villas are now available, according to Deepa Manuel, general manager of Kuda Villingili Resort.
Kuda Villingiili has won numerous awards, including the prestigious titles of "The Best Culinary Resort" at the TTM Awards 2022 and "Best Surf Resort" at TTM 2023. The keen connoisseurs of the World of Fine Wine have recognized Kuda Villingiili for having the "Best Designed Regional Wine List in Asia" due to its exquisite wine offerings and excellent attention to detail.
