Kuredhivaru Resort and Spa has earned the prestigious Wine Spectator 2026 Award of Excellence for all three of its signature dining venues Oak Lounge Wine Cellar, Bodumas, and Latitude 5.5 highlighting the resort’s dedication to exceptional wine experiences and culinary excellence.
The Wine Spectator Restaurant Awards honour restaurants with outstanding wine programmes that feature thoughtfully curated selections, complement their cuisine, and uphold the highest standards of quality, presentation, and accuracy. The Award of Excellence is presented to restaurants offering at least 75 carefully selected wines, providing guests with a balanced range of producers, styles, and price points.
Led by Head Sommelier Sasho Petereski, Kuredhivaru Resort and Spa’s wine programme showcases more than 300 labels across its three restaurants. Each wine list has been meticulously curated to match the unique culinary concept of each venue, while all wines are stored in temperature-controlled cellars to preserve their quality and character. The collection includes celebrated international labels alongside rare vintages, catering to both casual wine lovers and seasoned collectors. For guests who are interested in a more focused and immersive wine experience, the Oak Lounge Wine Cellar stands out as the preferred venue at the resort. This facility caters to wine tastings, wine pairings, and dinner settings in which every dish is paired with carefully selected wine from the resort's sommeliers. This elegant setting is ideal for the exploration of rare labels and the fascinating history behind some of the finest vineyards in the world.
