Leisure Airline Beond to Introduce Apple Vision Pro Headsets

Luxury leisure airline Beond will provide Apple Vision Pro headsets to chosen passengers on flights to the Maldives. The headsets will offer an immersive virtual experience showcasing the beauty and attractions of the Maldives, in addition to Beond's current onboard entertainment options.

Beond’s Chairman and CEO, Tero Taskila, shared his thoughts on the initiative, expressing that the Apple Vision Pro would revolutionize the inflight entertainment experience. He highlighted how the inflight experience would generate excitement for passengers prior to their arrival in the Maldives, emphasizing the airline’s dedication to improving travel experiences and its satisfaction in pioneering the technology.

The airline is working with partners in the Maldives to produce unique videos for the Apple Vision Pro headsets. Travelers can anticipate beautiful virtual tours of resorts and insights into the various activities offered in the island nation.

Following the airline's recent growth, Beond has obtained a second aircraft and introduced passenger flights from Munich, Zurich, and Riyadh to Malé in 2023. Additional routes from Milan, Dubai, and Bangkok to the Maldives are set to commence in mid-2024, offering all-lie-flat seating for premium comfort.
