We are transitioning from being the leading domestic and seaplane carrier in the Maldives to becoming an international airline operator. Manta Air's expansion includes the introduction of a new direct flight route from India to the Maldives. This development is expected to generate a surge in travel interest and bookings from Indian tourists. The primary objective of this strategic move is to enhance the overall guest experience and drive more bookings for resorts in Dhaalu atoll, specifically Kandima, RIU Hotel, and Niyama Private Islands. These resorts are conveniently situated in close proximity to the airport. By facilitating easier and more affordable travel access to the Maldives, we anticipate a substantial increase in travel demand from Bengaluru and across India in 2024 and beyond.
This significant endeavor represents a significant achievement for the indigenous Maldives' airline and recognizes India as a crucial origin market for the Maldives. Manta Air, in partnership with high-quality partner resorts, will create unique bundled packages for the respective properties that are conveniently linked to Dhaalu Airport. These meticulously crafted deals guarantee seamless convenience for international travelers from India, leading to substantial reductions in both travel time and expenses. Through this initiative, Manta Air strives to elevate the onboard experience, simplify international travel procedures, and eliminate the necessity for intermediary travel prerequisites or connecting domestic flights within the Maldives.
