This October, as part of their culinary season, Le Meridien Maldives Resort & Spa will feature two Michelin star chef Soenil Bahadoer. Gourmets may enjoy great dining in a tropical paradise.
Visitors to the luxury resort, which is situated in the Lhaviyani Atoll on the island of Thilamaafushi, can partake in an exclusive Masterclass with a 3-course lunch, 5-course dinner at Velaa Bar + Grill, La Vie, Rosé and Petit Plates Sunset Soirée curated by Chef Soenil, and live cooking pop-ups at Au Soleil BBQ and Le Meridien Hub Garden as part of the resort's exclusive offerings.
Through Marriott Bonvoy Moments, visitors can also access once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. Two successful bidders will be treated to a Private Brunch Picnic with Rosé wines and bubbles prepared by Chef Soenil on the exclusive island of Bodu Finolhu at the Le Meriden Maldives Resort & Spa. A private outing may also include a fishing trip to a nearby island, a visit to the resort's greenhouse, and a private Champagne dinner with the chef.
A combination of French and Surinamese cuisine is served on the menu of Chef Bahadoer's Restaurant de Lindehof in Amsterdam, honoring his background. During the pop-up, Le Meridien Maldives Resort & Spa will serve meals including European lobster with apple, curry, and mango chutney, as well as Rendang with cabbage, ginger beer ice cream, and white soya.
When guests reserve a spot at this gourmet pop-up, they can take advantage of a special package that includes free daily buffet breakfast at Turquoise, free daily buffet dinner at Turquoise or a three-course set menu at Velaa Bar + Grill, free 5-course set menu prepared by two-Michelin-star chef Soenil Bahadoer, free 30-minute photoshoot with one printout, and free daily water sports.
