Nitin Walia Appointed Resort Manager at Taj Coral Reef Resort & Spa

Taj Coral Reef Resort & Spa, the top-notch luxury boutique resort in Maldives, has recently named Nitin Walia as its new Resort Manager. Nitin is a highly experienced hospitality expert who has been a part of the Taj group for more than 15 years, having excelled in various roles at renowned city hotels and destination resorts.

Nitin originates from New Delhi, India. In 2008, he commenced his journey with Taj as a Hotel Operations Management Trainee. Prior to his initial international role as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at Taj Exotica, Maldives in 2017, he progressed to the position of Assistant Food and Beverage Manager in India. In 2020, he was elevated to the esteemed position of Director of Food and Beverage at Taj Exotica, Maldives.

Nitin brings pointed insights, strategic planning, careful execution and a certain human-first approach to Taj Coral Reef Resort & Spa. In his occupancy at the Taj, he has led multi-cultural teams and nurtured an intuitive flair for surpassing guest opportunity. At every stage of his career, he has steered his department and hotel to execute, meet annual targets and expand new company streams.
