A forthcoming gastronomic spectacular with famous Italian pastry chef Davide Del Chierico has been announced by Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa. With the picturesque Furanafushi Island in North Male Atoll as the backdrop, this new cooperation promises a delectable voyage into the world of pastries and desserts. The island is known for its turquoise ocean views, immaculate white beaches, and exquisitely built lodging.
From September 30, 2023, Chef Davide Del Chierico will visit the resort and start a five-day intensive training program for the resort's talented pastry crew. The program seeks to improve the resort's culinary options so that visitors have a wonderful dessert experience. Riccardo Pinna will assist Chef Davide, the resort's skilled Executive Chef, in instructing the pastry crew. Chef Riccardo has a distinguished resume and has led and impacted kitchens in a variety of cities, including Dubai, Budapest, Vienna, and more. Both chefs have a plethora of culinary experience and are natives of the beautiful country of Italy.
The Pastry Master Class is a must-attend event for visitors who want to indulge in the world of Italian desserts. It provides a chance to embrace the genuine Italian method of creating tiramisu through a DIY, hands-on experience. The resort has a unique treat in store for Marriott Bonvoy elite members in addition to the Pastry Masterclass. A small-scale cocktail reception will be conducted, where visitors may unwind and mingle while savoring specialty drinks and wines along with breads from around the world and sourdough from Chef Davide, combined with a variety of cold cuts, cheese, and regional goods. Additionally, Chef Davide will give a unique meet-and-greet and a quick presentation of his beautiful creations to Marriott Bonvoy Elite Members.
A master of pastries who is also an expert in sourdough management, viennoiserie, and baking, Chef Davide Del Chierico offers to the resort a wealth of knowledge and ingenuity. Visitors will have the opportunity to personally experience the "Arte Bianca" or the art of creating bread while they are there. At the breakfast buffet, Chef Davide will display his artisanal bread creations and invite people to sample them and engage with his culinary skills.
