Singapore Airlines (SIA) stated that all passengers in all cabin classes, including Premium Economy Class and Economy Class, will now have access to free, limitless Wi-Fi. Almost all of the aircraft in the fleet1 and the entire SIA route network will have access to this improved Wi-Fi service.
Thus, even at 36,000 feet in the air, passengers in all cabin classes will be able to stay in touch with loved ones, conduct online business, or keep up with their social media feeds.
Customers must provide their KrisFlyer membership information at the time of booking using the Manage Booking online option or at check-in in order to use this service. To use the free in-flight Wi-Fi, non-KrisFlyer members can also register for their free membership online or while using a personal mobile device on the SIA digital content site.
Customers traveling in suites, first class, business class, and PPS Club2 will all continue to have free, unrestricted in-flight Wi-Fi access. Travelers in Premium Economy Class and Economy Class have had access to complimentary three- and two-hour Wi-Fi surf plans since February 2023, respectively.
High-speed in-flight Wi-Fi access is one of our customers' top priorities in today's hyperconnected world, according to Mr. Yeoh Phee Teik, Senior Vice President of Customer Experience at Singapore Airlines. Giving them access to free, limitless Wi-Fi is another achievement in SIA's ongoing mission to provide customers with a remarkable, end-to-end travel experience. Our customers will be given the tools they need to stay entertained, connected, and productive even at 36,000 feet in the air thanks to this improved service.
By May 1 2023, SIA will have 136 passenger aircraft in service.
Except for the seven Boeing 737-800 NGs that lack Wi-Fi, all aircraft offer free, unlimited Wi-Fi access.
This includes owners of PPS Club supplemental cards.
