Afaag brings over a decade of experience in luxury hospitality sales from the Maldives and is known for his skills in creating market strategies that deliver excellent results in very competitive regions. Ahmed Sabah, who started as a Sales Executive from joining the resort, has been an exemplar of dedication and excellence in enhancing the property's sales performance and building strong client relationships.
Afaag worked at Vakkaru Maldives, where he supported strategies to grow the brand across international markets by running sales operations. Afaag is part of the launch team of Patina Maldives and takes direct leadership on the markets of Australia and Middle East while supporting efforts in the UK. As The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, Afaag will work closely with the Sales & Marketing team in the Middle East, Australia, and Europe in managing these markets and will also contribute to on-island sales and marketing initiatives aimed at furthering revenue growth and driving global presence.
Since joining The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, Sabah has been the central point of managing communications to global partners, coordinating familiarization stays, and executing strategic initiatives. He has been promoted to handle both the India and local DMC markets for the hotel as his promotion further develops strategies on wholesale and MICE. His promotion testifies to his dedication and, indeed, considerable contribution to the team, for the resort continues bringing all those great luxuries to guests.
