The five amazing resorts of Sun Siyam Resorts celebrated World Tourism Day 2023 by embracing the subject of "Tourism and Green Investment" with a number of warmhearted and environmentally responsible events. The theme of this year's festivities was dedication to responsible travel and environmental preservation, demonstrating Sun Siyam Resorts' continuing commitment to the cause.

Sun Siyam Iru Veli set the standard with a broad range of activities that made an effect on visitors and the neighborhood. At the Kid's Club painting contest, mini-olympics, beach fiesta, and thrilling grand raffle draw, families and children were having a blast. A lively cultural presentation and theatrical performance featuring the team members' talents brought a local flavor to the evening's festivities.

On World Tourism Day, Sun Siyam Vilu Reef provided a unique Maldivian welcome to all of its visitors and gave each one a wooden heartfelt letter that represented the welcoming spirit of the Maldives. Additionally, a tree-planting ceremony and various family-friendly beach games were held.

The event to plant coconut palms with resort workers and other guests served as the festival's high point at Sun Siyam Iru Fushi. The resort's continued dedication to reducing its carbon footprint and safeguarding the natural beauty of the Maldivian terrain was symbolized by this symbolic action. At the resort's main pavilion, a wonderful cake-cutting ceremony was held to promote community and solidarity in the goal of sustainable tourism. The festivities went on with a variety of enjoyable beach activities like beach bag races, 3-leg races, and competitive tug-of-war matches.
