The brand-new resort, SO/ Maldives, which will open in the Maldives in November 2023, has Nisachon Amphalop as its Director of Sales & Marketing, according to Ennismore, a London-based hotel and hospitality company.
Nisa, a Maldivian native originally from Bangkok, will use her talents to develop, direct, and manage all sales and marketing initiatives to advertise and brand SO/ Maldives as a premier lifestyle luxury resort in the Maldives. With her unrivaled expertise and experience, she will guide a committed team in developing fruitful partnerships and a remarkable brand image with clients and partners, as well as great awareness of the resort in important international markets.
Nisa began her work as an Assistant Business Development Manager at the Sheraton Krabi in Thailand after receiving her Master of Business Administration in International Business Management from Stamford International University, Bangkok. At W Koh Samui in Thailand, she later attained promotions to Director of Sales, Account Director, and Sales Manager. As the Area Director of Sales for Rosewood Phuket in Thailand and Rosewood Luang Prabang in Laos, Nisa joined Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. She was in charge of the pre-opening team and managed all sales operations for both properties. After serving as a Regional Director of Sales for Europe, America, and Emerging Markets for the Soneva Group for 5 years, Nisa was given the opportunity to advance to the position of Global Director of Sales in 2020.
Nisa is able to lead SO/ Maldives' Commercial Team and create a masterpiece by leveraging her broad expertise for market insights and leadership gained from working with international luxury brands. She focuses on developing strategies to drive the rooms and events revenue as well as expanding the market share.
