Ryszard Majewski Takes the Helm as General Manager Maldives

Ryszard Majewski has been named General Manager of The Standard Maldives, a five-star luxury resort in the Maldives. Ryszard has over two decades of experience in hospitality leadership positions, including managing challenging locations in the United States, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.

Before joining The Standard Maldives, Ryszard had a break and worked in private. He also worked with FLC as a Cluster General Manager in Quy Nhon, Vietnam, where he was in charge of the resort's overall operations, including pre-opening construction and ongoing improvements.

Ryszard has also worked for Optimum Hospitality as an Asset Manager Consultant and at iSanook Resort & Suites in Thailand as an Asset Manager. He has provided helpful advise on maximizing income, occupancy, and guest pleasure while establishing structures, SOPs, food and beverage menu engineering, branding, marketing, and sales strategies, and maintaining high standards in these roles.

Ryszard has also held leadership positions as a Cluster General Manager for Olhuveli Beach and Spa Maldives and as a General Manager for Kurumba, Maldives.

Ryszard has garnered multiple distinctions throughout his career, including TripAdvisor's coveted No. 1 All-Inclusive Resort in Asia and No. 10 All-Inclusive Resort Worldwide awards, as well as Booking.com's Elite Emerald award for the highest revenue contribution. Ryszard's appointment is a good development for The Standard Maldives, since he has a proven track record of maximizing occupancy and income, adopting successful marketing and sales tactics, and maintaining high standards.
