Sun Siyam Iru Fushi Strengthens Leadership Team with Addition of Sales and Marketing Director and Assistant Manager

Ahmed Ali (Adu) has been promoted from Assistant Director of Sales and Marketing to Director of Sales and Marketing, while Florante Abuton Jr. has joined the team as Assistant PR & Communications Manager, according to Sun Siyam Iru Fushi.

Adu has spent the last five years playing a significant role in the hotel's sales and marketing staff based on property. In his new position, he will be in charge of devising and implementing marketing campaigns, supervising a talented group of business development staff, and overseeing and carrying out Sun Siyam Iru Fushi's sales and marketing strategy.

Both his coworkers and important clients have recognised and respected him for his exceptional leadership abilities, his in-depth knowledge of the hotel and Maldives tourism industries, and his ability to work with partners and clients. Adu began working at Sun Siyam Resorts in 2019 as the sales manager at Sun Siyam Iru Fushi. Since then, Adu has played a crucial role in boosting the resort's sales and revenue. He had previously worked a number of front office and sales positions at Soneva Resorts and South Lux Ari Atoll in the Maldives, accumulating a wealth of knowledge in the hospitality sector.

Adu, a native of the Maldives, earned a degree in international hospitality management from Taylor's University in Malaysia. He has a strong understanding of the industry and a commitment to excellence that will make him successful in his new position.
