The name Amilla Fushi means "my island house." A Rolls beach buggy, bicycles, a pillow menu, and two lengthy Providores (grocery) lists—one with free products and the other with upscale items guests can pay for—all contribute to the sensation of being at home. Additionally, the charming and discrete katheeb (house master) goes above and beyond to ensure that guests enjoy every moment by giving genuine service in the spirit of the island. (There are staff quarters and a security room for guests travelling with their own entourage.)
There is no place like the Amilla Villa Estate. But if locals can manage to drag themselves away, they can take advantage of the incredible amenities the island has to offer: dining at top-notch restaurants; exploring the diverse underwater world; participating in a variety of water sports; going on fascinating excursions; soothing their senses at the spa; and attending life-altering wellbeing sessions and workshops. Additionally, there is a kids club with daily events and a babysitter service (on extra cost).
Amilla, which supermodel Kate Moss described as "the most gorgeous and soothing spot on earth," is reachable by seaplane directly to the island or by short domestic flight from Male International Airport (and ten minute speedboat ride). Alternatively, the resort's marina welcomes private yachts.
