Conrad Maldives Rangali Island has announce its festivity of the Thai New Year, Songkran Water Festival from 13th – 15th April, 2024. This year’s festivities assure a profusion of activities perfectly combine cultural immersion with the serenity of island life.
Songkran, a New Year festival in Thailand that is celebrated in April. The Songkran festival begins on 13th April with a wonderful water ritual at the poolside, symbolizing purity and rejuvenation in the strength of Songkran. Guests can plunge themselves in a cheerful and spirited celebration at the Conrad Rangali Bar, featuring lovely Thai culinary specialties, energizing Thai-inspired cocktails and energetic music from the resident DJ.
Enduring the celebration on 14th April, visitors of all ages are inviting to an enjoyable sandcastle house competition taking place at the beach. The day ends with a feast at the Atoll Market present traditional gastronomic making from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and India.
The festival culminates on 15th April, welcoming the New Year with a sunrise yoga session in Maldives, offering a calm start to the day. This is follow by a unique breakfast that includes healthy and refreshing dishes, allow guests to continue the celebration of rejuvenation.
