The celebrations start on July 22nd with a captivating tour of the resort’s cultural show, Magey Hiyaa.
Exhilaration build on July 23rd as the celebration continue with an unforgettable Maldivian night, where visitors savor a traditional dinner called served “Malaafaiy” style at Kakuni restaurant, follow by a mesmerizing Boduberu show.
On July 25th, a charming Maldivian Cooking Class led by the brilliant Executive Chef, Chef Moosa Nazeeh, takes place at Kakuni. Guests can discover the secrets behind the country’s most much-loved dishes.
The week culminates on July 26th, Maldives Independence Day, with a traditional flag-raising ceremony on the Maldivian beach. Guests can connect the state pride as the Maldivian National Anthem fills the atmosphere
The celebrations close with a wonderful Maldivian-themed afternoon tea featuring local delicacies serve at the Veli Bar. As visitors savor the flavors, they are fascinated by the musical beats of another Boduberu performance.
