Cinnamon hospices & Resorts Maldives invited the guests of its islet resorts to share in several important events in honor of Earth Day 2025, which rounded this time's theme" Our Power, Our Earth." Every resort commemorated the day with events aimed at fostering sustainability, recognizing the natural world, and securing the delicate ecosystems that compass them.
Although the resort has strict programs against the use of plastic, polythene, and fishing nets, currents in the ocean tend to bring ghost nets and other ocean trash from other places. Levies and staff entered the water, gently clearing matted trash from the corals and ocean bed, an act ofeco-guardianship directly serving the health and long- term survival of the islet's vibrant reef. For the resort, sweats add up toward the larger thing of supporting marine life and encouraging sustainable tourism.
