Afonso Matias, a reputable tennis professional from Portugal, has accumulated more than ten years of experience in the sport. He began playing at the age of 8 and transitioned to competitive matches by age 10. Alongside his tennis pursuits, Afonso pursued a comprehensive education and obtained a management degree from the esteemed Nova School of Business and Economics. Recognized by the Portuguese Tennis Federation as a certified professional tennis coach, Afonso has worked with ATP-level players at prominent clubs throughout Portugal. Currently serving as the Tennis Director at Jawakara Islands Maldives, he leads the resort's tennis and padel tennis program in partnership with LUX Tennis.
