New hire: Sara Raquel Pinto, assistant regional sales director.
Sara will report directly into both properties of this portfolio. She will lead innovative local initiatives in marine conservation around its iconic beach site for Six Senses Laamu and Six Senses Kanuhura.
Sara has almost ten years with the Six Senses brand and is looking to bring her sales experience in luxury hospitality toward helping share and personify our brand values. She is currently the Sales Manager for Six Senses Ibiza and responsible for markets in Europe and Brazil. Her roots hail from Portugal but was transferred actually, transferred from the officer sales and marketing position and assigned the role of Sales Manager of Six Senses Douro Valley in order to have her share in making plans to build up market connection.

Six Senses Laamu is a five-star resort located in the Indian Ocean on Laamu Atoll. The resort borders a splendid coral house reef. Almost all villas and amenities, both overwater and some beachfront are accessible to dine in above-land areas. Ocean views with surroundings seem to be only privatized where the villas appear to be somewhat hidden. There's also an overwater wine cellar, organic garden, and a signature bar besides the many dining options and international cuisettes. Besides the Six Senses Spa and the Sea Hub of Environmental Learning in Laamu (SHELL), the marine conservation center, there are land, sea, and even underwater activities and excursions.
