In the Maldives, the festive season is marked by a touch of magic, brought on by the turquoise waters, beautiful sunset and serene island location. This year, THE OZEN COLLECTION will invite guests to get into the festive spirit in OZEN LIFE MAADHOO and OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI through the celebration of festive events which will ensure that guests will be spending time with their loved ones. Starting from 22 December 2026 till 7 January 2027, the programme for the festive season will be a blend of traditional festivities with an element of island charm that is unique to the Maldives. The programme includes magical Tree Lighting ceremony, festive culinary experiences, extravagant New Year's Eve party and Orthodox Christmas services amongst many others.
On the islands of OZEN LIFE MAADHOO, the festive season starts with a combination of wellness activities, family fun, and exciting island experiences. Mornings can be dedicated to wellness activities at ELE|NA Elements of Nature Spa, whereas smaller guests can have a go at decorating gingerbread houses. Further on, the program includes such entertaining elements as the Sangria Fiesta, underwater tree planting ceremony, and a variety of Christmas games. Moreover, you can enjoy unique tastings of wine, gin, and bubbles, attend cooking master-classes, and taste various culinary dishes prepared by local chefs. The celebrations culminate on New Year's Eve with a glamorous celebration “Glitz & Glam”. There will be fireworks, live entertainment and a festive atmosphere for celebrating the arrival of 2027. Then comes the Orthodox Christmas which marks the end of the season. Speaking about the festive programme, Mei P.
