2024 Surfing Legends Series

The Perfect Wave, in partnership with Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives, has revealed the comeback of the Surfing Legends Series to the private island paradise. This event will feature former World Champions Barton Lynch and Pam Burridge, as well as ex-pro Ace Buchan, who will be offering exclusive surfing programs where they will share their stories, secrets, and coaching tips.

Surfers participating in the Surfing Legends Series often bring along non-surfing companions, and we make sure they receive excellent care as well. Aussie Barton Lynch whose brilliant career included 17 World Championship victories to turn into one of the most successful specialized surfers of all time. Barton will host a seven night camp 27 April to 4 May, 2024 initial from US$4,250 per person (based on double share 1 surfer/1 non-surfer possession) staying in a Beach Villa. Barton will be hosting special dhoni (Maldivian boat) trip to near waves include lefts such as Tucky Joes and fun rights like lodgings and Riptides. At Kandooma-fushi, your private island residence for the week, your villa is located just steps away from the seashore and a private world-class right hand peak sever wave called Kandooma Right.

1990 World Surfing Champion Pam Burridge and her partner the famous surfboard shaper Mark Rabbidge will host a week of instruction at Kandooma. Present tips in and out of the hose over seven fun-filled days 9 – 16 June 2024, Pam and Mark’s programmed is planned to assist you recover your surfing in the accessible breaks on the entrance to Kandooma Maldives, but do reminder that this one is not for supreme beginners or those learn to surf!

Ace Buchan hails from the Australian Central Coast where he grow up surfing. Ace invites you to join him and his family for a week at Kandooma, surfing the great waves 31 May – 10 June, 2024. This week of surfing fun is modified to surfing families but everybody is welcome, whether you are a obsessive daily surfer look to familiarity the rippable walls of Kandooma Right, a pre-teen grom or gromette maybe going for your initial overseas surf tour with your family, or a Mum or Dad look to progress your skills and split various waves with your kids.
