In honor of World Turtle Day 2024, Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives and Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon have strengthened their efforts in marine conservation, mainly focusing on caring sea turtles.
Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives has adopted two Green Turtles and one Hawksbill Turtle, named Rehendi, Raivilla, and Raalhu. The resort’s initiative is part of a larger sustainability programme that includes complete biodiversity inventories and a coral propagation project aimed at preserve marine ecosystems. During the Maldives Ocean temperature data loggers and Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping project, Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts are assembly critical data to support these conservation efforts.
