Minor Hotel Names Michael Parker is the General Manager of three Maldives resorts

Michael Parker has been named General Manager of Minor Hotels' AMD cluster properties in the Maldives, including Anantara Veli, Anantara Dhigu, and Naladhu Private Island.

Michael, who is originally from the United Kingdom, is joining the AMD cluster from the South Place Hotel in London. Michael previously served as Managing Director of Rosewood Phnom Penh and as Managing Director of Rosewood's properties in Sanya and Guangzhou, China. Michael has also previously held the positions of Managing Director at Banyan Tree in Shanghai and General Manager at Wanda Hotels and GLH Hotels in the United Kingdom.

Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort, Anantara Veli Maldives Resort, and Naladhu Private Island form a cluster of three hotels in South Male Atoll, a short speed boat ride from Male. Minor Hotels has six properties in the Indian Ocean: Anantara Kihavah Maldives, Anantara Veli Maldives, Anantara Dhigu Maldives, Naladhu Maldives, Niyama Maldives, and the newly opened Avani + Fares Resort Maldives, which will open in the first quarter of 2023.
