Plans for the next Fitr Eid celebrations were revealed by Oaga Art Resort. To commemorate this momentous milestone, the resort will organise a 2-day schedule of events and activities.The celebrations will begin with Eid prayers in the morning, followed by an Eid breakfast and pleasantries provided by the resort's "Rahvehin" team. A modified version of Eid Maaloodh, which was once widely practised in the Maldives, will take place throughout the day on the island, during which poetry is recited to invoke good fortune.
