Clients can enjoy a range of treatment options, including the Haveeru Harmony – The Iruveli Ritual, a unique couple’s spa experience, which is designed to reflect the twilight hours of the island, Nirvana, an Ayurvedic treatment, which combines Abhyanga and Shirodhara, and Hiyala Head & Scalp Massage, a local spa experience, which draws inspiration from traditional coconut oil therapy.
This 150-minute experience has been specially designed for couples, ensuring that it coincides with the island’s transition into the evening, thus taking inspiration from the serenity and stillness of a Maldivian sunset. The experience has been specially designed as a private experience for couples, ensuring that all the major elements of a spa experience, including exfoliation, massage, and hydrotherapy, are incorporated into this experience. Ayurveda therapy has been an integral part of Ocean Spa’s wellness philosophy, ensuring that ancient therapies are incorporated into a wellness experience that aims to restore equilibrium between body and mind. The Nirvana experience has been specially designed as a 90-minute experience, ensuring that equilibrium is maintained in the entire body, including both Abhyanga and Shirodhara therapy. This treatment is based on local heritage and provides a 50-minute treatment that is inspired by the beauty traditions of the Maldives. The treatment uses homemade coconut oil, which is made on the island, to provide nourishment to the scalp and strengthen the hair. At the same time, it protects against the damaging effects of the sun and saltwater. Guests also have the chance to witness and participate in the coconut oil-making process with the resort’s ‘Maldivian Roots’ experiences.
