In a lovely celebration of unity, Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa recently brought families and staff members together for Eid. The resort understands the value of community and family, and Eid was the ideal opportunity to get everyone together for a memorable day of bonding.
Family-friendly events including crafting paper lanterns, canoe races, and classic Maldivian games like Thin Mugoali and Faiga Thalhaa marked the start of the celebrations. Before enjoying a great holiday lunch that comprised a wide variety of native Maldivian and international cuisines, as well as a barbeque station and kids' zone, guests were welcomed with gifts and delicacies as a show of appreciation.
The general manager, Mohamed El Aghoury, said, "We are happy to arrange this Eid celebration for our workers and their families. We were delighted to create a joyous moment where everyone could rejoice together because Eid is a special time for all of us.
The Kula Koadi Parade, which featured staff members marching around the resort in vibrant costumes to the energetic beat of Boduberu, was the highlight of the day. Everyone participated in the celebration of the conclusion of Ramadan and the start of Shawwal by dancing, laughing, and sprinkling colored powder on one another.
The Around-The-World delicious buffet supper at Feast was complemented by a live band, making the event just as spectacular. While the live band played music that had everyone dancing the night away, guests ate a variety of delectable dishes, including both local Maldivian specialties and international favorites.
The Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa's Eid celebration was a huge success, and the hotel is looking forward to hosting additional activities that unite friends, family, and coworkers in a spirit of unity.
