Exclusive 'Maldives Media Meet' at ATM 2023: MMPRC Provides Latest Updates

On May 2, 2023, in Hall 3, Al Ain Suite B, Maldives Marketing & Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) wrapped up the special "Maldives Media Meet" news conference conducted in conjunction with ATM 2023. Over 50 important Middle Eastern and worldwide media professionals attended the news conference.

A brief introduction to the Visit Maldives Storytellers' Conference 2023 was given before the press conference started. The Storytellers' Conference 2023, the most recent of MMPRC's international marketing initiatives, welcomes authors, journalists, bloggers, influencers, and all other kinds of storytellers from around the world to the conference and to experience the magnificence of the Maldives. Following the introduction, it was revealed that 5 lucky Press Conference attendees will be receiving invitations to the Storytellers' Conference.

The Chief Executive and Managing Director (CE & MD) of MMPRC, Mr. Thoyyib Mohamed, presided over the news conference. H.E. Aminath Shabeena, Ambassador of the Republic of the Maldives to the UAE, gave the opening remarks. He discussed the importance and influence of the long-standing diplomatic ties between the Maldives and the UAE on tourism. Mr. Greg Holder, Base Leader of the Maldives Underwater Initiative (MUI), from Six Senses Laamu Resort, was the second speaker at the press conference. The Maldives have won the most prestigious tourism industry award three years in a row, but this is their first time taking part in ATM.
