Maldives records highest daily tourist arrival with 8900 visitors

The Maldives experience a significant increase in tourism on February 3, with almost 9,000 tourists visiting the islands. This marked the highest number of tourist arrivals in a single day for the year, totaling 8,900 visitors and highlighting the growing appeal of the Maldives as a top holiday spot.

After that record, the second-highest number of tourists on a single day for the year was documented on February 8, with 8,032 visitors. Before that, the third-highest surge of tourists in a single day happened on January 13, with 7,703 tourists arriving in the Maldives.

China is the top country for tourist arrivals in the Maldives this year, with 28,304 visitors. Italy is second with 23,749 tourists, and Russia follows in third place with 21,399 tourists visiting the islands.

This year, the Maldives has received a total of 236,730 tourists, showing strong recovery and growth in the tourism industry. This pattern highlights the lasting popularity of the Maldives as a premier travel spot, known for its beautiful beaches, clear waters, and upscale resorts.
