Revamped Member Portal Unveiled by MATI - Experience Enhanced Features

The updated MATI Member Portal, a resource center only available to MATI members, has just been released by the Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI). It offers extensive data sets about visitor arrivals, travel receipts, airplane movements, tourism-based tax collection, etc.

The redesign includes an increase in available data sets, functional improvements, and mobile view and access optimization. In addition, a new function that will be available starting in 2019 will allow users to compare flight movements and arrival statistics by day and by airline.

The Portal's main data sets and features are as follows:

Overview of the tourism industry: Compare indicators from 2019 onwards, including visitor arrivals, occupancy rate, average stay, bed nights, and travel receipts.

Arrivals by Markets: Starting in 2017, compare tourist arrivals by important Markets.

Bed Capacity (Distribution): Starting in 2019, compare bed capacity among different types of accommodations (resorts, hotels, guesthouses, and safaris).

Compare flight movements and arrival counts by day and airline starting in 2019.

Tax Collection: Compare tourism-related tax collections from 2019 onwards, including TGST, Green Tax, Departure Tax, Tourism Land Rent, etc.
