With Curly Tales, one of India's top platforms for food, travel, experiences, and lifestyle content, Maldives Marketing & Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives) has launched an interesting campaign. The campaign, which runs from April to May 2023, aims to boost the Maldives' brand recognition, draw in and interact with wealthy tourists who have a strong propensity to travel, and inspire aspiration and shape opinions.
A platform called Curly Tales develops content with the goal of identifying fascinating and thrilling experiences from all around the world, including gastronomy, wellness, adventure, and more. 6.5 million active monthly visitors and 750,000 active daily users may be found on Curly Tales.
Kamiya Jani, the founder and chief editor of Curly Tales, traveled to the Maldives as part of the campaign. With a focus on culinary exploration, local experiences, and leisure, she was hosted at Kaani Palm Beach, where she took part in distinctive Maldivian activities with a local twist.
She tried out a variety of activities at the second host property, Grand Park Kodhipparu, including sunset fishing, water sports, a sound therapy therapeutic session at the resort's spa, and learning about the regional culinary tradition through a sandbank cooking lesson, among others.
Based on the visit, several forms of content will be developed, describing the goods, experiences, segments, and updates from the Maldives tourism sector.
With 241,369 arrivals by December 31st, 2022, India was the main source market for the destination. This represents 14.4% of the market share.
