On July 15, 2023, Sun Siyam Iru Fushi Maldives will celebrate World Youth Skills Day by hosting a group of brilliant youngsters from the nearby local island of N. Holhudhoo for an amazing day visit. The goal of this all-day excursion was to inspire and ignite passion in these young people. A well chosen schedule of events demonstrated the countless opportunities in the dynamic industry of hospitality. No effort was spared in offering those pupils a taste of what the sector has to offer, from housekeeping to front office, culinary to food and beverage, recreation to water sports.
Every year on July 15, the World Youth Skills Day commemorates the significance of providing young people with the fundamental abilities needed for work and entrepreneurship. Sun Siyam Iru Fushi used this occasion to foster local talent and highlight the variety of professional pathways offered in the growing hospitality industry of the nation. Sun Siyam Iru Fushi recognized the enormous potential of the young in influencing the future of the country.
"We wanted to inspire these rising stars and encourage them to pursue fascinating careers in the hospitality sector. According to Abdulla Atham, resort manager at Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, "We think that everyone has a special gift waiting to be discovered and we were committed to help these students unleash their potential.
The day was jam-packed with engaging workshops delivered by our seasoned specialists who imparted their insightful knowledge and success strategies.
