Hard Rock Hotel Maldives Joins Hard Rock International “WE ARE” plan for International Women’s Month

Hard Rock Hotel Maldives is participating in Hard Rock International's "WE ARE" initiative to celebrate International Women's Month, showcasing its dedication to promoting women's health and empowerment. The company is raising funds during the month through its charitable arm, Hard Rock Heals Foundation®, to support two organizations: Global Gift Foundation and Magee-Women's Research Institute. 

This initiative includes nearly 1,000 woman-led performances at various locations worldwide, special food and beverage offerings, in-room music experiences, and more activities for guests to engage in.

Hard Rock Cafe Maldives 

Partnering with Women Who Rock™, we invite guests to enjoy exciting performances by the Deviate Band every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Thursday nights, dance to the beats of the renowned local DETUNEBAND. Beginning at 08:30 PM, these shows, featuring skilled female vocalists, offer an unforgettable evening of music and empowerment. Admission is free, encouraging everyone to unite and honor the impactful women who shape the music industry and beyond.

Limited-Time Cafe Food & Beverage Offerings:

Indulge in the Pink Lace Margarita, a unique cocktail showcasing Casa Del Sol, the premium tequila brand co-founded by director, actress, and activist Eva Longoria. A portion of the cocktail sales will go towards supporting Magee-Women’s Research Institute and the Global Gift Foundation, dedicated to making a positive difference for women, children, and families in need. Alongside the Pink Lace Margarita, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives presents a special menu available for a limited time until April, featuring Spring Pasta, Mahi Burger, Berry Salad, Coconut Almond Sundae, and the gin-based Run the World cocktail.

Guests can engage in a diverse range of activities on March 8, 2024, designed to honor and empower women. The festivities kick off with a Special Ladies Zumba class at the Pool Deck, providing an opportunity for guests to dance and set the tone for a day of celebration. Following this energetic start, guests can participate in the Strongest Woman Fun Games at the Swimming Pool, take part in Women's Beach Fitness at The Elephant & The Butterfly Beach, and enjoy an Aerial Cocoon Hammock Session at the Stage.

During the evening, the resort will organize a Ladies Beach Volleyball Match, then serve a delicious Japanese-themed Dinner at Sessions. The night's entertainment will include a performance by the Deviate Band at Hard Rock Cafe Maldives, followed by a Ladies Night Dance Challenge with Live Music & Abracadabra at the Pool Deck.

Guests can also enjoy a 15% discount on certain items at Rock Shop® in the Resort and Cafe during March 2024. They can save on stylish merchandise to commemorate their Maldives visit or find a special gift for a loved one.

If you want music during your stay, The Sound of Your Stay program provides a selected playlist with songs by influential women artists from different genres. You can also borrow vinyl records with music from iconic female artists through the Wax program or use a Gibson custom wrapped International Women’s Month “WE ARE” guitar for in-room jam sessions.

Additionally, visitors have the opportunity to discover specific memorabilia from Hard Rock's extensive assortment that showcases renowned artists who have played key roles in advancing women's rights, including Madonna, Beyoncé, Aretha Franklin, and others.
