Education Centre Students Learn Hospitality at Iru Fushi

On November 4, 2023, Sun Siyam Iru Fushi in the Maldives hosted a career exploration trip for students from Noonu Atoll Education Centre in N. Velidhoo. The purpose of the excursion was to give these enthusiastic students a unique opportunity to learn about the hospitality industry, with a focus on different hotel departments such as front office, food and beverage, and housekeeping operations. The students were also given a comprehensive tour of the resort facilities, providing them with valuable insights into the world of hospitality.

The students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of hospitality at Sun Siyam Iru Fushi in the Maldives. This educational experience aimed to ignite their passion for the industry by giving them a firsthand understanding of its different aspects. They were able to witness the daily operations of the resort, gaining a unique behind-the-scenes look at the exceptional amenities and high-quality service provided at Sun Siyam Iru Fushi.

During the visit, the Sun Siyam Care program highlighted the significance of marine life and environmental conservation. Throughout the visit, it was announced that five students who took part in the program were chosen for an industrial training program at Sun Siyam Iru Fushi. These students will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in various departments such as front office, food and beverage service, and housekeeping for duration of six days. This immersive training will enable them to further develop their skills and establish a solid groundwork for their future endeavors in the hospitality industry.

Mr. Mohamed Nizar, the School Principal for Noonu Atoll Education Center in N.
