The Maldives are taking part in ATM for the first time after being named the "World's Leading Destination" for three years in a row, the most prestigious award in the tourism business.
The premier international event for the Middle Eastern inbound and outbound travel sectors is Arabian Travel Market. Their annual event has brought together buyers and visitors from the travel industry with products and destinations from around the world for the past thirty years. It seeks to assist the travel sector and promote significant business ties.
The Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director (CEO & MD) of MMPRC, Mr. Thoyyib Mohamed, spoke at the ceremony and emphasized the enormous importance of ATM and the enormous potential of the Middle Eastern market for the Maldives tourism industry.

Without a doubt, networking and collaboration chances for our industry partners are tremendous. Thoyyib Mohamed, CEO & MD, said.
The Maldives are showcased in a 429 sqm double-decker display that was created using a novel idea that combines contemporary designs with indigenous Maldivian flora and fauna. The stand, which includes 90 co-exhibitor counters and 53 B2B meeting tables, is inspired by the Maldivian Islands and other features of the famous natural environment of the Maldives. Visitors can enjoy a variety of thrilling experiences at the eye-catching Maldives stand.
Additionally, raffle draws will be held at the booth, giving 05 lucky visitors the opportunity to win a complimentary trip to the Maldives. Seaside Finolhu Baa, Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, NOOE Maldives Kunaavashi, and Adaaran Prestige Vadoo supported the raffle draws. The goal of the Maldives booth is to draw in as many visitors as possible while presenting the vibrant Maldivian culture, heritage, and personality.
At this fair, Maldives is promoting a variety of tourism niches, including luxury, honeymoon, romantic, family, and adventure, as well as MICE clients. The participation of Visit Maldives at ATM 2023 offers the Maldives' tourist sector partners numerous chances for networking and promotion. Co-exhibitors can engage with international tourism stakeholders for potential new partnerships while also promoting their services and experiences. The Maldives' participation in ATM 2023 ultimately enhances and solidifies the Maldives brand in the Middle Eastern market. Alongside ATM, a special "Maldives Media Meet" press conference was held.
