The domestic flight to Maamigili airport is the right transfer choice. 25-minute flight, short speedboat connection. The direct speedboat from Male takes 3–4 hours across open ocean and gets rough in monsoon conditions. The price difference doesn't justify the discomfort.
Alcohol is not available on Dhiguveli. Plan for it. The local restaurants serve fresh juice and soft drinks. Some guests bring their own from Male duty free check local regulations before doing this.
