The Surf - Why Thulusdhoo
Thulusdhoo has more accessible surf than any other local island in North Male Atoll. The breaks accessible from the island:
Cokes (Randhaa) - The headline wave. A hollow, tubular right-hand break over shallow reef. Accessible by swimming from the island during the right conditions. Advanced surfers only. Best from May through October.
Chickens - A left-hand break across the channel. Fun, consistent, suits intermediate and above. Boat transfer approximately 10 minutes.
Ninjas, Sultans, Honkeys, Jails - Additional breaks reachable by surf transfer boat from Thulusdhoo.
Daily surf transfers run to all the main breaks. Chickens holds swell ranging 3ft to 10ft, with barrels at the final section. Coral Inn organises daily transfers to all sites.

Thulusdhoo has four beaches two bikini beaches and two local beaches. Daily excursions include resort visits, dolphin watching, sandbank tours, snorkelling trips, catamaran sailing, night fishing, Male city tours, and shark and stingray snorkelling. Water sports available: scuba diving, game fishing, windsurfing, sailing, kitesurfing, parasailing, island hopping, stand-up paddleboarding, and freediving. The hotel has an art gallery and spa.

Getting There
25 minutes by speedboat from Velana International Airport. Speedboat transfer can be arranged through the hotel. A free government ferry service also runs to Thulusdhoo but takes longer.
